Kassandra Chrisco, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with experience in multiple treatment settings. Her mission is to provide individualized physical therapy treatments through a holistic full body approach to finding the root cause of a patient’s barriers to function.

Kassandra moved to Humboldt County in 2019 from San Diego, CA where she graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with a Minor in Spanish from San Diego State University, then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She began her career as a physical therapist in an outpatient setting where she specialized in orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions as well as treating a number of vestibular cases through Applied Functional Science. She also spent time in San Diego as an endurance athlete participating in a number of half marathon and triathlon events, in which she still participates. 

Kassandra also has experience working with individuals in Home Health, inpatient and skilled nursing rehabilitation settings which has contributed to a well rounded approach to overall patient care. She has experience treating individuals of all ages and at multiple stages of recovery from orthopedic surgery and chronic neurological conditions. Her experiences have helped to prepare her for many medical, emotional and environmental barriers that may affect someone’s return to pain free daily activity. 

Kassandra’s decision to open her own practice came from her desire to help keep individuals active in their community and to empower others to take charge in their own health and wellness journeys. She is excited to bring her holistic and compassionate  treatment style to her practice located at Center for Natural Medicine in Arcata, CA.
